Filtering and aggregation
Find a way to balance community contributions with some form of filtering/editorial process. In other words, allow anybody to create content, but also be able to pick and choose certain content to appear on various sections of the site.
- Content is self-contained within the user's profile without showing up in the main sections of the site.
- Main sections of the site (home, music, media, etc.) each have their own panel and view set to pull any nodes set to appear on the 'front' page
- Subsections (music/reviews, music/features, etc.) are using their own view set to pull anything that's promoted as sticky.
- In theory, user content will not appear in the main sections of the site without an admin or editor promoting it.
- By getting contributions from experts/fans representing a wide array of genres/scenes, we should be able to aggregate the content in many different ways.
